Original WW2 British Army motorcycle Dispatch Rider's Helmet. Good condition with nice leather & straps. Some minor marks to paintwork, consistent with 75 years age!
This type of motorcycle helmet was introduced in October 1942 and was manufactured by Briggs Motor Bodies Ltd. Who used to supply Ford with motor bodies and steel stampings. They also made parts in aluminium for the De Havilland Mosquito aircraft. This would have been used by riders of the BSA M20, Norton 16H, Triumph 3HW, Matchless G3L, Ariel WNG 350, Velocette MAC WD 350, the Royal Enfield WD/C 350 & WD/RE Flying Flea 125.
